A smart home is a building where lighting, climate, blinds, security, and multimedia systems are controlled from a single point, or remotely, usually through a mobile app. The goals are comfort, lower energy use, and managing safety from one place.

What is KNX, and why did it become the standard?

KNX is an international standard for building automation (EN 50090, ISO/IEC 14543). It runs devices from different manufacturers on the same two-wire line, the green KNX bus. The practical effect: you are not locked to one brand, and you can expand the system years later with devices from other makers.

How does a smart home installation work in Antalya?

A villa project usually runs in four stages: site survey and needs analysis, electrical and KNX bus planning (during rough construction), device mounting and programming, then commissioning and user training. For KNX, the cabling must be pulled during construction. Adding KNX later is partly possible with wireless gear, but it stays more limited.
